Homework & Studying at Home

What Settings Are Best

Select a nice, quiet, well-lit, comfortable, but not too comfortably soft place for your children to study. They should have a place for writing, reading, and using the computer that is away from disruptions/distractions. No matter what they tell you, they cannot do effective studying with the television or a videotape playing.

Some young children need to study with the parent nearby. If this is so, provide a quiet atmosphere in which you are near your children.
