Reading for Pleasure

If your child is one of those who finishes homework quickly and accurately, you should make sure your child has a book ready to read for pleasure. Get your child in the habit of reading novels, even in the primary grades. Insist that your child read each night to get your child into the habit of reading.

Even if your child spends much time on homework, scheduling a bit of silent reading each night is important for your child's future.
