Does Your Child Need a Tutor?
If your child is having difficulty keeping up with home assignments
and studying, talk with the teacher first. Work with the teacher to find
possible solutions. If the problems continue, you may want to work with
your child or ask someone else to do it. Sometimes children will work harder
for a tutor than for parents. The tutor should meet with the teacher or
call the teacher to get the information needed to best help your child.
It is unwise to schedule so much tutoring for your children that they
won't have any time left for play and relaxation. Children need to study,
