I look forward to seeing your work online! :-) So does Milo, the Wonder
Dog who belongs to children's author David Boyd. Can you find some stories
Mr. Boyd and Milo wrote for the Playground? Milo is actually a travel agent
(no, not really-he's a real wonder dog) who will take you on a trip around
the world. He'd like you to write all about the wonderful vacation he planned
just for you.
My cats Abigail the Grouch and Barney Barncat hope you'll write about
tuna fish. Tubbydog, who is a part everything dog, suggests you write a
funny story about her computer. What do you think her keyboard is like?
What does Tubbydog like to do with her computer?
I have lots of fish, too, in the pond outside my office. The biggest
one, Oscar Fish, is over a foot long, mostly yellow, and has whiskers.
When he relaxes, he hides his head under a lilly pad, but you can see the
rest of his body because he's so bright. Oscar is not fond of the frogs
that sit on his lilly pads. In fact, he doesn't like frogs at all. I wonder
why?
