The Children's Playground

Hi! My name is Milo the Wonderdog and, because it's such a great day today, I've decided to go on an amazing adventure! And you're invited to join me!

I'll be showing you some pretty amazing things and, because you're coming with me using your computer, I've put lots of great hyperlinks along the way so you can detour and find out more great facts about the things we see!

Come on, we're ready to go-o-o-o-o-o!

Have you ever been on an airplane? I have! Lots of times! I like to sit next to the window so I can see for miles and miles! My favourite plane is called the 747 and I've been to the factory where they make them.

When the plane lands, we're in England! It's a wonderful country to visit and there are castles and wonderful palaces to explore. My favourite place is London, where I can look at this big clock and hear the bell inside chime the hour. The bell is called Big Ben and, wow!, is it loud! Cover your ears!

Isn't this great? Now we're in a country called France and they have this really, really big tower which they call the Eiffel Tower. They named it after the man who built it. They have an elevator inside so you can travel right to the top and then you can see all of Paris! It was so exciting that it made me hungry, so I stopped for a sandwich made out of bread that looks like a big stick. The French call it a baguette. They're so good that I ate two of them filled with yummy ham and cheese!

Would you believe it? The sun came out and he's going to stay out all day so we can enjoy our time in Paris. I took a lovely walk down a long street called the Champs d'Elysees and, at the end of my walk, I visited a very famous museum called The Louvre which is filled with old, valuable paintings. I liked it a lot but I didn't see any paintings of dogs. Oh well, we're off again!

Tonight, on the train through Italy to Greece, they served world famous spaghetti for us! I like to place the noodles in my mouth and pull them in real fast! Try it! Yum! Yum! And then we can bark and sing a spaghetti song.

Our amazing adventure continues! Welcome to Greece where the buildings are so old that I can't imagine they're still standing. I visited an amazing one called the Parthenon and bought some postcards to send to some spaniels I know back home.

And here we are in Egypt! Boy, is this great! I got to ride this big horse with a big hump. They call it a camel. It was so hot that I could only climb halfway up the pyramid, but I really liked the sand. Sand everywhere! Wow!

Gee, travelling isn't cheap! I had to open Piggie and use some of my allowance so we can afford to go to China. I'm really looking forward to that. I guess I'm going to have to cut down on the dog biscuits if my money is going to last.

And here we are...China! I took lots of pictures of the Great Wall, which goes for miles and miles and miles! I met a Pekinese pup who acted as my guide and she showed me the best place to get steaming hot noodles for lunch. Lunch is always my favourite part of the day!

This is the first time I've been to Australia. We're in Sydney harbour, looking at their famous Opera House. Isn't it neat?

Wow! We've been on the plane for almost a whole day and I'm really tired. Maybe I should stop for a shower here? On the other hand, maybe not. Niagara Falls has got some pretty strong water pressure. Think I'll just buy a postcard!

Wow! It's hard to believe! Our amazing adventure is almost over! We had a long, long flight back home but, just because you've been such a wonderful travelling buddy of mine, I saved one last excellent place for us to visit. Do you recognize it? Welcome home!

Thanks for joining me on my Amazing Adventure!

Bark! Woof! See ya later!
